I’m not sure if this is the wrong sub to post this in or if I’m just that* late to this series. First of all, I am just now made aware that there is a book published before this series came to Netflix. So it is possible I could find my answers there. But my problem is that I think the ending of this series was just terrible. It’s as if she did a complete 180 in her addiction and attitudes just by a visit from her friend and a funeral. My biggest disappointment is her visit with Townes. Maybe it’s because I didn’t understand their awkward encounter back in vegas (I think) when he was taking her photo for an article- his roommate came in unexpectedly and from there the whole thing was awkward. Was that Townes lover/boyfriend? I don’t understand what that scene was supposed to imply. Secondly, their visit in the last episode - he apologizes and she apologizes, what is going on? I don’t get it. For such a great series with high highs and low lows as much as this show has, this was such a terrible ending.
