I remember listening to Gogol Bordello and Star Fucking Hipsters way back in the day and thinking one day i was gonna get out of my city and explore and find a new life for myself. Those kinds of bands always instilled the wanderlust in me that i wanted to follow. Well I finally took the leap and have been traveling for the last three (almost four) months all over the U.S. I just landed a job interview in a place I’ve always wanted to live and work in too. Even if I don’t get it, it was still worth it. I guess if it wasn’t for punk rock’s influence on my life I would still be stuck in my city and not taking chances to create the life I’ve always wanted.
