I've recently started having an issue where my bridges fail to "connect" at the far end with some regularity. When the printer tries to bridge, it extrudes the filament across from the starting point, turns back at the far end with the next bridge section, but doesn't create a good connection, instead leaving a floating loop of filament.
For example, in this print, where the longest bridge is ~3cm, there are five loops of filament that have been created in this way: https://i.imgur.com/PWcFAv1.jpg
(One can also see that some of the bridges are quite "gappy" - adjacent extrusions on the bridges haven't connected very well to each other)
From what I've read, 3cm bridges should be well within the capabilities of Prusa printers - people have shown off 15cm or better. Are there any slicer settings, or other tweaks, that will improve bridging behaviour?
I'm using PrusaSlicer v2.5.0, with an Original Mini with 0.25mm nozzle. I'm printing with PLA, at 205C, with the default bridging speed of 20mm/s.
