How important is it to update LORs?
Post Body

So I plan on having 6 LORs for this application cycle.

2 MDs (one who I work with and another from volunteering) 2 Science 1 Academic Advisor 1 Research

I’ve had my LOR’s written last year because I was gonna apply then but I decided to hold off until this year to retake my MCAT. I’ve reached out to all my writers for an updated Letter but haven’t heard back from: 1 MD (the one I volunteered for- they are an ER doc so I’m sure they are slammed and may not get back to me) And also haven’t heard back from 1 Science letter writer.

Would it look back if I submitted those even though they were written about 10 months ago??
