So I’m married. We’ve been poly for 3 years and so far so good. But we’ve always dated new people.

Now my husband wants to date my best friend and she wants to date him. She’s also poly and has 2 partners. She’s been poly for nearly 15 years so usually when stuff like this comes up I go talk to her. She and I have been friends for 10 years.

But I don’t think talking to her is the best idea right now because I don’t want my feelings to stop them. I’m uncomfortable. Not against them being together. I actually think they’d be good together and would enjoy each others company quite a bit.

But oh man is my jealousy meter which is usually non existent freaking out right now. I have just so many overwhelming feelings right now.

Has anyone else been through something like this?

Edited to add - I also at her encouragement just started dating one of her partners. Like within the past two weeks.
