Building my first base tips?

Hey, it's my first time playing "new" rust and I've been reading a lot about the different types of walls and the building plans. I wanted to know if are there any simple ways of building that are "better" or "more safe" than others, like in the old Rust doing the 3x3 base or "between the rocks" base. Also I am playing alone for now so megastructures are off the table.
