Help me not kill a snake plant please
Post Body

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to plant parenting.

About a week ago I bought a couple of snake plants to put in my living room right next to a floor to ceiling window facing west that usually remains open without curtains.

The thing is that they're potted in dirt and since I'm combining 2 in one pot (they're pretty small still) I want to completely replace the soil bit I'm not sure what proportion to use of each ingredient.

There are no premade soils where I live and people usually just pot in dirt with some rice husks.

This are the things that I have:

Peat moss

Perlite

Worm castings

Orchid Bark

Rice Husks

Can someone with experience tell me what proportions to use I've read that they need well draining soil and to be let to completely dry between waterings, I'm just not sure what proportions to use to achieve this, online everything I see goes along the lines of: use cactis soil and add perlite or use regular potting mix and add more perlite.

Thanks for your help
