Hi, first up. Is this the correct sub? I know this is touching on 'community rule 2'. Sorry if it isn't allowed..can anyone help me understand this growth...umm plant, moss or fungi? Whatever it is on my palms??

This is in Brisbane, Australia. Grows on the outside of these palms (got 4) without much change (5years living here) until recently... over the last few months it has been spreading and getting thicker. When I pull some off it's full of 'white powder'.

Please, what is it?
