"Hey, good morning. I hope I didn't call too early."

"You just woke up. Hope it was peaceful."

"So I was thinking we could go get breakfast and sort out the day and our story. Are you up for it?"

"Great, I'll pick you up in the next hour. Is that alright ? "

SCENE CUT TO SION OUTSIDE LISTENER'S DORM

"Hey."

"Yeah I drove. Considering everything is still fresh. I didn't think walking would be all that great."

"Let me get your door for you ."

|Sion opens the door for Listener before he jogs over to his side, gets in and starts the car.|

"So before we go, I was planning on taking you to the Cafe uptown . Miss Meadows Breakfast, Bakery and Pastry. Any objections? "

"You've never been there? "

|Sion asks shocked|

"You're in luck for a brand new experience then."

"Oh yeah , your good time start at 10:15. Quote me on that."

SCENE CUT TO MISS MEADOWS

"And we're here."

"Hey ,hey, hey. Missy why is your hand on the door handle ?"

"Yes you. Protocol says that I get the doors... All the doors ."

|Sion runs around the Listener's side to let her out.|

"Right this way."

|Sion pushes the door open and the chimes ring|

"Quite scenic huh ."

|Sion pulls out Listener's seat |

" Yeah it came to mind on my way to pick you up. It's never packed , it's on the quieter side and it's peaceful. "

"Glad you like it so far."

Mina : " Hello good morning. My name is Mina and I'll be your waitress for the morning. Here are your menus and I'll be with you when you're ready to order ."

Sion: "Why thank you very much."

Mina: "Welcome!"

|Mina walks away|

Sion: " Has anything caught your eye?"

"Waffle full house sandwich? Quite a good choice. Anything to drink?"

"Apple juice."

"Apple juice over orange person?"

"Migraines. Ahh I see... And noted . "

"Ready to order ?"

Mina : And what will you two be having?"

Mina: " Got it. And for you sir ?"

Sion: " I'll have the Bacon and eggs with the grilled cheese waffles with an orange juice please."

Mina : "Alright great choices. That'll be about 20 mins for both. Be back in a bit ."

|Mina walks off |

Sion: " So the matter at hand ..."

"Yes the story ."

|Sion taps his fingers on the table.|

"So I was mapping everything out. How long since you broke thing of with..."

|Sion hesitates|

"....You know who.

"Yeah Alex ."

"A month before second semester started. Ahh over the holidays. So with that, let's say we start talking like a month and a half after and we met off campus. "

"Yeah,thing is, because I'm fairly involved in school I'm all about the place sometimes so it's better we connected outside campus where no one could verify."

"I'm good at this ? "

|Sion laughs|

"You think so. I just really didn't want anyone putting the time line together and finding us out ."

"Yeah definitely commiting to the plot ."

"Alright so we're talking mid February and we're warming up to each other and we started going out in March . That was midterms so we could just give the excuse that we didn't go out much because we were both studying for exams . We kept things very undercover. After exams we were free and we talked things over and agreed we liked how we were getting along, especially in the stresses of the exam period. So we started official dating early April which would match up with Noel seeing us in public .

"Yup had it all planned out. I had a few variations but I wanted to keep it as regular as possible to fly under the radar."

"That's great , us meeting a few times at the library off campus would be solid. I study by myself and it's not unusual for me to head over there near midterm season. This would add up with Noel picking up my 'solitude act'. "

"It's definitely coming together. I would give us a pass."

"The basic stuff? Oh yeah. sometimes I really forget we have to start from scratch. "

"So I'm a third year Sociology major with a minor in political science . "

"Aka the professional essay writer. Notes and essays for DAYS! What about you ?"

"I wish I could have fit a few courses over linguistics in my timetable but I was packed with no mercy to this day ."

"Ahh family. I'm the only child. I don't know how obvious that is. Home is about 3 hours up from here.

"A little gated community is all. Comfortable. What about you?"

"Outside town... Is that where the loner comes in . The unfamiliar territory?"

"They sound cool. Good that you guys can get together for the summers and holidays ."

Sion: I'll get the bill."

Mina : "Thank you and come again soon!"

|Sion and Listener leave Miss Meadows and walk to the parking lot . Sion opens the car for Listener before getting in himself|

"You're welcome really. It was a good morning. Glad you enjoyed yourself."

"So about the main thing. Are you up for it ?"

"You are ? Alright. It's good that you reached a comfortable place to make the decision. Would you want me to go in with you? "

"It's fine, it's fine . It's really no trouble. I'll go in."

|Sion starts the car and heads back to CIW campus|

"You have any study groups you stick with?"

"Oh you keep it small. Just asking because that creep shouldn't be knowing you keep to yourself so much. Not sure how much you told him but since he's been show up around the places you usually go to..."

"Because it's final year ?"

"Ohhh everyone is busy too . "

"True, everyone was much more free in first and second year."

"You needed to focus a bit more so you left the larger study groups. "

"Things are much harder now, I get that... Damn the timing is just ... Ugh ."

"This is just messed up really. What's so hard in just moving on? You two never even dated. What's the use of freaking someone out like this?"

"You look like a weight has been lifted."
