So I've been shooting on my Canon 60D since it came out. I love the thing to death, but feel like it's time to upgrade.
I was thinking about getting a used 7D II because it seems to blow the regular 7D out of the water. I'm also considering it as it's a lot cheaper than the 5D III but, would it be worth my interest in pursuing the 5D II?
I primarily shoot landscapes, usually during the day as I'm still trying to figure out how to shoot night photography. I'll shoot wildlife if it's around, I don't go out pursuing it. Portraits... I don't really do often but I'm sure most cameras will do fine.
I currently have the following lenses:
18-135mm kit
40mm f2.8
70-300mm IS f4-5.6
The reason I listed the lenses I have is because, I feel that whenever I look at my photos even when focused perfectly, aren't nearly as sharp or clear as my friends who are shooting L series, or anything other than the stock lenses I have.
I guess part of the reason I want to upgrade camera bodies is because I'm going to be living in the snow for the winter, and would like a camera that can hold up to the elements. The other reasons being I just want to improve my low light shooting as well as overall photo quality.
If I had to give a budget max right now, it would probably be around $1500.
Thanks for any and all info!
