So I really want to try and capture some shots tonight of the meteor shower and am stuck on which lens to use.
I have a 60D with:
Kit EFS 18-135mm F 3.5-5.6
EF 70-300mm F 4-5.6
EF 40mm F 2.8
The only other time I shot night photography was with the 70-300mm as I didn't have the 40mm at the time. (on my phone so I cant link a picture) The results came out fine.
Now that I have the 40mm, would that be the best bet to use since it has a lower fstop as well as being a prime lens?
EDIT: I also plan on doing a short time lapse, would the 40mm be the best for that as well?
I know that framing will vary depending on which lens range I end up using, I'm just trying to figure out which lens would offer the best quality image.
Thanks in advance!
