I’ve saw some posts regarding old gays being groomers and stuff. Personally, I’ve been a victim of grooming and worst, been a survivor of SA by an old gay man.
I know not everyone from the old generation are like that. But sadly, the rise of male SA victims/survivors are on the rise especially the recent Senate debacle of Sandro Mulach and etc.
Do old gays, who with all due respect, envy the privileges that the younger generation of gays are experiencing right now? I will consider their efforts especially it is the byproduct of their countless efforts to fight for equality; but this time, it’s a hard to swallow pill that “you cannot have your cake and eat it too.”
I’m personally subscribing to legal positivism, as compared to the classical theory of criminal law. But, there is a need to punish criminal actions, otherwise it will produce a chilling effect to the entire system.
