I am a new personal trainer who recently got his NASM certification and almost done with the group fitness course
I see alot of advice here saying that the best route is to go independent and to make money you muse be good at selling yourself .
But where do you start ?
I don’t see when I go to the gym random trainers talking to random members and trying to promote their services and to be honest that would feel too much like soliciting and be annoying for members who aren’t interested in personal training
I also don’t think that promoting yourself through social media would work as most top trainers I see are either young female models who gets a lot of customers just because they look good or male bodybuilders all jacked on every roid possible lol
I just got a call about an internship at a local gym but the manager also said that they don’t have many customers and I need to be able to sell my services to get a lot of customers.
What strategy do you guys use that works consistently?

You deserve gold - I've been thinking about business cards, I'm a mentee, and eventually I'll be independent at a boutique gym. What is your opinion?
And yes, refferal system is the absolute priority
