Thinking about moving 401k stash to savings
Post Body

I had a vanguard 401k account set up with my previous employer. I'm with a new employer and have a small company nationwide fund set up. I'm thinking about moving the money in my vanguard money to a savings account and continue to add to it with every check.

Is this a wise idea? I just want to centralize where my money's going. Would a CD be a good option?

I'm new to finances and savings and investing, and at 28, I want to buckle down so I have SOME money when it comes to retiring.
