Post Body

So I'm in a tricky situation:

I am currently driving an hour to and from work each day. I am wanting to get closer to work along with getting my own place. Living with my parents right now, but it is getting old and I want to be my own person. I definitely won't be buying anything for a year, but I want a roadmap to follow. I am wanting a house/townhouse to live in. I've included a few additional facts below.

I am a new college graduate with a job making 50K a year plus a few extra thousand in side jobs.

I have no debt or expenses since my car is paid off.

I have about 24K in savings

My credit score is 760

Average home prices range from 250K-300K for something decent

Rent ranges from 1200 - 2200

I plan on living there for 5-6 years before reevaluating where I am with my life.
