Hello, hello, wonderful frequenters of the Penpal Land!

I'm Clarissa, a Tennessee transplant living in Scotland--married to a Brit. I've been here for 8 years now, which is an absolute treat!

I really honestly thought I had enough penpals in 2022--but now that it's 2023, and one of my Christmas presents was a TYPEWRITER, well. Obviously the rules have changed 😂

I am looking for people like me who are in the snail mailing for the long haul, the trusty mcgusties of the penpal world! I love nothing more than to plonk down and write to people from all around the world. If you have an interest in striking up some dialogue, you can expect some washi-and-sticker extraordinaire style letters in the post. I don't mind how long it takes you to write back, but for those who are consistent in their responses, an extra round of applause! ❤

Some interests of mine include: travel (let's do talk about the places we want to go, and the places we've been!), podcasts (any 99PI fans out there? been listening a lot lately!), books and audiobooks (am a happy member of a book club, and am trying to kick of 2023 right with lots of 'on the shelf' catch-up!), the casual bike ride, the wandering hillwalk--and BIRDS. Boy, has birdwatching seized me something fierce in my old age!
