How to tell an attorney to slow down on requests?
Post Body

I work for several attorneys in a large insurance defense firm. One attorney I work closest with is a great attorney to work for in many ways. However, he gets in these phases where he rapid fire sends me tasks to complete and they all have to be done right away. I can’t complete them all immediately like he wants. And the dumping of so many tasks at once with the expectation of an immediate response is stressing me out and makes me want to scream. How do I tell him to slow down and I’ll get them all done, but I can’t in the timeframe he expects? I’ve been a paralegal for 13 years so this isn’t my first rodeo.
