So I'm making this post for 2 reasons. The first. I have kind of always been a pagan (I wont go into what I mean by that) but since I have truly embraced paganism in general and polytheism especially, I have lost alot of friends. Not necessarily in a bad way, many of us still keep in touch, we have simply grown apart and I'm my mind at least it has alot to do with my spirituality. I moved out into the countryside, my values changed, and that has alienated me from most of the friends I had beforehand. So I would like to know about all of your experiences with friendships in relation to your spirituality, how has your spirituality affected your relationships with those around you? Secondly, after around 10 years without close friendships I'm beginning to crave the community bonds that come with them, so are there any pagans in this subreddit from louisiana or Mississippi? I would love to connect with people near me if anyone is interested in making new friends.
