Is it bad being a Sig/Ram one trick

Post Body

I was always afraid of playing tank in comp because of all the pressure that came with the role but I turned off all comms and said fuck it, played a couple games and went straight from unranked to silver 4 but the entire time I only played Sig unless the enemy had a shield tank or an annoying Brig in which case I went Ram to punch through shields. worked pretty well but I saw a lot of dumb gameplays from the enemy dps in pretty much all the game so I'm wondering will only knowing how to play them two hurt when I get into higher rank with better enemies or should I practice with other tanks to. I'm decent with Zarya and JQ but I find I have to trust my supports too much for my comfort.
