I've been mired in reviews about otome games, wanted to learn what other people like to do with the information if they do read them.

When do you read reviews? For example, what kinds of games? Before or after?
What do you want to get out of them?
If you do read reviews: Overall in your time playing otomes, do you believe review of a given game that you choose to play affected your experience of it? In what ways?
If you do read reviews: overall in your otome history, have you found them to align with your thoughts on the game?
