Anyone using Gaba or gabapentin specifically for anxiety? I was prescribed gabapentin to help with my withdraw from opioids (hydrocodone and kratom). One of these withdrawals was anxiety. During my use, I thought the anxiety was just acute withdrawal so I chased it with more substance. Once I became sober I thought the anxiety was withdrawal however now that I have been sober for 28 days (yes, I understand I could still have withdrawals in some form) it still is present at a high level. When I take my gabapentin it helps with my anxiety. I was hoping I could get some more insight from everyone.
