Communal Swamp Shack
Post Body

Hello everyone, Gray Jack here.

Recently, I had set off into the swamps in search of some Dimetrodons. The difficulty of their taming aside - NO ONE likes the swamp. Come on, admit it. Fighting one thing turns into fighting three, and then when you've killed one - there's suddenly twenty bugs swarming you. And what happens when you die? Thrown ALL the way back to your base, quite possibly with your mount far away from you. Well, everyone knows and hates this, so I thought i'd try to do something nice.

At the Co-ords of 68, 65 - there is now a Communal Swamp Shack. This two-story building has crafting equipment inside - Forges, a Smithy, Mortar and Pestle, as well as open and unlocked storage chests and Preserving Bins. Also - just outside of the house is a taming pen, for anyone looking for a safer time taming while in the area. The second floor of the house is very spacious - this is intended so that many and multiple people of different tribes may put beds down, allowing anyone who respawn there if they died nearby.

As i'm sure everyone can figure out - this house is based on an Honor system. If someone is keeping Prime Meat preserved for a tame, it's completely your choice to take it, or leave it. Have a beef with someone? There you go. See they're having trouble? Offer help! I highly suggest that anyone who comes here does not use storage for any long-term period. Remember - everything is unlocked, and you can't really trust EVERYONE.

I hope the shack finds a use among anyone looking to invest time into the swamp.
