So, bf and I had his aunt and uncle over from Scotland, and we were talking about my family. Now if anyone has seen previous posts, they'll realize my adoptive family kinda screwed me over. I told them I wished I had all my money to give to my bf so he could afford repairs, or remodeling on the house since it is falling apart, or if the house gets bad enough to tear it down and rebuild, because eventually upkeep and repairs will cost more than a new home.

The house was hand built by their father, and they immediately got offended that I would say the house would eventually need torn down because of the state it's in, even if it was in OK condition 60 years ago. None of the family except my bf's dad ever stopped by regularly to see their mum, except their family from Scotland visited once a year. And I care more for bf's family than my own, they made me feel like I belonged.

Now after I said that slipup, he might not get the house with family against it with me in the picture, and we have to break up for now so I don't get him in any more trouble.

I feel terrible for even mentioning I'd give my money to help him, and pay for repairs or replacing the house and it made him get covered in crap.
