- Some of the items you can unlock: Poster - New Items
- Players are now able to walk and sprint over almost any terrain type, including off cliffs
- Players are now able to toggle their locomotion between head based direction or controller based direction in Settings > Gameplay

We really wanted to get in a squads mode for launch but we weren’t able to make it
- We want to support squads ASAP and we know players are eager to play in teams with their friends. Teaming up is not allowed at the moment since we don’t have squads. There is an exception for player created rooms where players are allowed to set their own social rules. Players creating their own Rec Royale games via our ‘Create’ menu will be allowed to team up with their friends if they wish. However since squads are not currently supported there can still only be one winner. Rec Royale games, even in player created rooms, will have no awareness that you are playing anything but solos. So any squad games will be purely player organized in custom rooms until we are able to get official support for squads in the game.
- Teaming up outside of custom rooms will lead to bans. Here are two premade custom rooms we have created for players: Poster - Squads Notice
- The Frontier Pass will provide exp and rewards in custom / player created rooms since players are not able to tweak any of the game parameters
More stuff
- Performance improvements
- A lot of optimization on the island environment and physics interactions
- Lots of level design work and map changes based on player feedback
- Easier holstering and drawing of weapons and other items
- Items now show an outline of themselves in the holster to indicate where they will snap in
Screenshots n stuff
Updates
We update every two weeks so please leave us feedback at https://recroom.canny.io/ on bugs and features you'd like changed or added to Rec Royale or any Rec Room game. This was not a comprehensive list of all of the changes since the alpha weekend so you can expect a lot of other tweaks as well. Thanks for playing!
