Is the hurricane coming close enough to be worried?
Post Body

Should we be boarding up windows and all of that stuff? Or are we inland enough where it's just about getting water, batteries, food, preparing for no power, ect ect

New to central Florida, this would be my first hurricane

Comments

We have hurricane shutters. I probably won't put them up unless it makes landfall as a major hurricane and passes directly over us. Otherwise it would be tropical storm winds and while they are dramatic they aren't going to blow out your windows
