🌌 A Science Fiction Feature: Whether its in a galaxy far, far away or a just a crew of rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh just out on a routine shakedown mission, I'm a slave to science fiction tales. I have strong love of exploring well-established universes like Mass Effect or Star Wars, ever so rich with lore and opportunity for adventure. Equally enticing, however, is the prospect of co-creating an entirely new universe from the ground up, where our imaginations can roam free. I hold a special fondness for exotic aliens and relish the opportunity to bring unique characters of diverse races to life. If you share a love for Asari or Twi'leks, consider me doubly intrigued! 🚀👽
🪖 An Epic Historical Setting: Step into the captivating world of history with me! This is one of my all time favorite genres. Period. I love historical settings. Colonial America? Great! The Victorian Era? Even better! Turn of the century? World Wars? 1950s Slice of Life? Yes, Yes and most definitely yes! I have a great interest in exploring past settings and even historically inspired or alternative timelines. I especially like a military sub-theme and usually like to include them whenever possible, though not definitely a requirement.
☢️ Post-Apocalyptic Adventure: It's the end of the world as we know it! I've long been fascinated by the myriad possibilities these settings offer. Humans just trying to survive and scrape by enough to make it to the next day amidst the ruins of a once great and prosperous society. It makes a great backdrop for all manner of stories. I'm mainly inspired by Fallout in this setting, but really love to try and create a unique universe for the purposes of roleplaying. Especially if my partner is interested in exploring and coming up with different ideas.
🏰 Masters of Fantasy: Step into the realms of fantasy, where intrigue and complex characters reign supreme! I won't lie that I'm pretty new to this genre. Largely I am inspired by the treacherous landscapes of Game of Thrones, and to a lesser extent TES: V Skyrim. I find myself drawn to stories featuring iniquitous monarchs, morally ambiguous knights, and the plights of everyday common folk who all have to facing their own challenges. Political treachery, turmoil spurred on from and spurned and resentful lower classes seeking retribution for their woes, animosity between man and the other races, eleven, orcish or otherwise. For this I'd really rather focus on exploring and creating a new world rather than fandoms with established lore. Not to say I'm opposed to taking cues and inspiration from them, however.
🚀 The Retro-Future:
A cool idea that I find really interesting, but unfortunately haven't really gotten to pursue much of yet. What if the future took its cues from the past? Would dive into an enchanting realm nostalgic of a bygone era mated with visionary innovation that's nothing short of captivating? Or would we find a dystopian world that's plagued by apathetic future that shares more with a modern hellscape than a bright and shining world of tomorrow? I feel this to be a unique setting where the past's could possibly combine both a historal and science fiction themed story with definitely enough room to incorporate fantasy elements if so desired.
🌑 Exploring the Shadows: I really enjoy the unorthodox, and my appetite leans towards darker and more unique roleplays, infused with more taboo and limitless trends and themes. If you're wanting to push boundaries and delving deep into the complexities of the more forbidden themes, I would definitely be interested in hearing you out in the DMs.
🌎 About Me: Hello! If you read this far, I am Jolly! A 21-year-old male from the US, residing in the CST timezone. I have approximately five years roleplaying experience under my belt and consider myself to be a semi-literate to literate writing. On average I do 3-5 paragraphs per response in third person, however I'm more than able to match my partner's pace. Post length is not a major requirement for me within reason, but I definitely prefer quality to quantity. If you believe we might make good partners and our creative energies align, I'm eager to connect and start writing with you!
