My wife suggested opening our relationship about 9 years ago. I was a little reticent but am open minded. She got rolling before I completely signed off and had a ton of success and was very excited by it. It took me a long time to get used to it and to really embrace compassion. I was also generally not into reclamation sex. I needed time after she was with someone.

Now, as I've had a few of my own experiences and group play experiences with her, I find the concept of her with others as being really hot. But she's reached a point where either the novelty has warn off or it's no longer filling a need she had to see other people.

Anyone else had similar experiences? Would love to do it as part of group play but that's a challenge to find. It's not a problem, just feeling wistful that we couldn't get ourselves aligned at the same time.
