My (40) partner (34) and I are non-hierarchical and both have other partners. I’d like some input from the community on your views regarding texting and phone calls with other partners when spending time together.

Regarding general phone habits, one of us maintains frequent text/phone conversations with friends and other partners, and the other has limited text/phone contact with others. We don’t see eye to eye on non-emergency text/phone contact with other partners when spending time together - particularly on long overnights, and recently a 5 day vacation.

How do you manage contact with other partners when you are spending time with one partner? How might this differ between regular date nights, long overnights, and vacations?
