NFL Week 15 Predictions Thread (2022 Season)
Post Body

Happy Wednesday, /r/NFL! Four weeks of regular season football left. Playoffs are shaping up with clinches happening left and right. Last week's predictions were back to mediocrity, with me going 7-6 bringing me to 124-86 overall. How did you all make out? The byes are over, so we're back to 16 games this week with four division games to look forward to. We also have three Saturday games this week. Let's get to it!

Winner Loser Comments
49ers over Seahawks The Purdy hype is real. He will make his first road start against division opponent Seattle, which is coming off a dud loss to Carolina averaging just 60 rushing YPG the last four weeks. San Fran's defense and the Purdy hype has a lot picking them for the win.
Vikings over Colts The Colts had a bye and they'll look to break a three-game losing streak under Saturday... on a Saturday. Minnesota is coming off a divisional loss to the Lions and they'll get back on track against the Colts after a close game.
Browns over Ravens Baltimore isn't in freefall, but the Browns are favored in this one due to Lamar not ready to go and Huntley with a concussion. Rookie Anthony Brown could get the start here. It's also Deshaun's first home start and the Browns will pull off a home sweep of AFC North opponents.
Bills over Dolphins How healthy will Tyreek be for this game? Miami's offense sputtered last week and Buffalo is going to be looking for payback from Week 3. Snow is in the forecast, which won't help this Florida team and Allen is 4-0 against the Dolphins at home.
Eagles over Bears The Bears had a bye week but they're going up against arguably the best team in the league right now. The QB duel between Hurts and Fields will give us some good highlight-reel plays, but Philly comes out on top in this one.
Saints over Falcons Believe it or not, both teams are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. Ridder is the QB for Atlanta, and the Saints always bring it when they play the Falcons so I expect this should be an awesome game regardless of how crappy both teams are right now.
Lions over Jets Coin flip game for me. Both teams have a good chance to win this, but Detroit is riding a hot streak right now and they have a chance to fight for a playoff spot with a win this week.
Steelers over Panthers Another coin flip game. Pickett's status is uncertain after being put in concussion protocol, and the Steelers could turn to Rudolph. Carolina is trying to get back in the NFC playoff hunt. Darnold is shooting for a third straight victory. This will be a close one.
Cowboys over Jaguars Pederson was 4-7 against the Cowboys as HC for the Eagles. But Dallas is trending toward another high seed in the playoffs, and they have averaged 419.3 YPG through a four-game winning streak. Dak keeps finding ways to win.
Chiefs over Texans The Texans led for most of the game against the Cowboys. KC will not be as generous. Mahomes will bounce back from a three-INT game. Not sure how much more Texans fans can take.
Cardinals over Broncos Both QBs had a rough Week 14. With Russell uncertain, the Broncos will turn to Rypien. And with Murray likely out, it's McCoy's turn. Slightly better coaching makes me pick the Cards this week.
Patriots over Raiders McDaniels will get a shot at Belichick. The Raiders have the rest advantage, and the loser of this game is out of the playoff hunt. New England needs this one knowing Cincy comes to them next week. Belichick gets the best of his former assistant coach.
Titans over Chargers The Chargers are starting to click now that Williams and Allen are healthy. But Henry helps Tennessee control the clock, and they pull out a possible upset on the road.
Bengals over Buccaneers This is the first (and maybe only) matchup between Burrow and Brady. The real story is a Bengals' defense that allowed 16.7 points the last three weeks. That is the key for Cincy as it keeps pace with Buffalo and KC at the the top of the AFC.
Commanders over Giants These teams tied two weeks ago. The Commanders are coming off a bye week, and the Giants are fading after three losses the last four weeks. New York's defense needs to figure it out fast if they want to stay in the playoff hunt.
Packers over Rams Baker likely will get the start this week. He threw four INTs in his last visit to Lambeau and the Packers are coming off a bye having won the last four home games against the Rams. Rodgers keeps Green Bay's playoff hopes alive.

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Good luck!

Playoff Picture with my picks.

Update: 11-5, on to Week 16.
