NFL Championship Round Predictions Thread (2022 Playoffs)
Post Body

It all comes down to this Sunday, /r/NFL! The Championship Round is coming up and I don't think any of us expected to see the matchups we're seeing this weekend. We almost had a complete road team sweep last week, with both #1 seeds being one-and-done. I went 2-2 and I don't think many of you did much better, given how crazy those games were. I have no idea who's going to win this week, so let's just have fun with it. Here we go!

Bengals @ Chiefs 3:00p ET on CBS Bengals Confidence: low. I've been on the Burrow train since the playoffs started and I'm not hopping off now! This kid is showing you all what made him so special when he played for my LSU Tigers and won us the Natty. Having the relationship he's got with Chase through college and now on the Bengals has paid off exponentially, and Uzomah has also been an invaluable playmaker. It's the O-line that truly has me nervous, giving up 9 sacks last week. On the other side of the ball, you have the favorite to win it all, the Chiefs. Mahomes showed last week how amazing he can be. With Hill and Kelce, he can pull off miracles. I'm going with the upset on this one just because this seems like a storybook season for Cincy.

NFC Championship

49ers @ Rams 6:30p ET on FOX Rams Confidence: medium. Both teams played amazing against old-hat QBs, putting them out to pasture. The Rams torched the Bucs last week, but then allowed them to come back and tie the game, leaving it up to a last-minute amazing play by Kupp to get them a FG. Meanwhile, the Niners have been surprising everyone with how well their defense is performing and with Jimmy G. playing decent football. I am concerned about San Fran's injuries from last week, which could tell the tale of this matchup. I already spent my upset card on the other game, so I'm going with the Rams to win at home and be the second team in a row to host a Super Bowl in their own stadium.

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!
