NFL Week 10 Predictions Thread (2020 Season)
Post Body

Happy Veterans Day, r/NFL! Thank you to all NFL fans who have serve or are currently serving. We appreciate your sacrifice, from one vet to another. Last week, I did much better, going 11-3, bringing me to 89-44. How did everyone else do? We have four more teams on byes. We also have seven divisional games. Let's get to it!

Winner Loser Comments
Titans over Colts AFC South rivals meet with the division lead on the line, and the Colts' second-ranked run defense will be a test for Tennessee. The Titans have lost the last two meetings at home, but they win a close on here.
Browns over Texans Any other season, this would be all Texans. The Browns had a bye week to get healthy. Baker and Watson will put on a show knowing both pass defenses are weak. The difference will be Houston's inability to stop the run.
Washington over Lions Toss-up game. Smith threw three INTs last week, but he also had two 100-yard receivers in McLaurin and Sims. Stafford threw two picks, and the veteran QBs will play a wild game as a result.
Packers over Jaguars The Packers are huge favorites at home, and lines like that are risky given how up-and-down Green Bay's defense has been. Jacksonville can slow the game down a little bit with Robinson at RB, but they can't keep with the Packers' offense for four quarters.
Eagles over Giants The Eagles had a bye week to prepare, and Wentz had 359 passing yards in the first meeting. New York kept the first meeting close and have improved in the running game, but Philly increases its lead in a weak division with a season sweep.
Buccaneers over Panthers Brady bounced back to beat the Panthers after the first loss to the Saints, and he'll do it again here. You gotta feel bad for CMC, suffering yet another injury, and that's going to make it that much more difficult to keep up. AB scores his first TD of the season, too.
Broncos over Raiders Possible upset maybe? Carr averaged 138 passing YPG in the Raiders' last two wins, but they have been able to run the ball effectively. Lock has connections now with rookie receivers Jeudy and Hamler. If the Broncos can run the ball, then they can win this matchup.
Dolphins over Chargers Two rookie QBs that replaced veteran starters will face off. Can Tua lead a playoff run? It's starting to become a real question, and it will be amplified if the Dolphins win here. Miami's defense has allowed 17 points or less the last three weeks. That's the difference against rookie Herbert.
Bills over Cardinals This should be a great game. The Bills upset the Seahawks and continue that momentum on the road against the Cardinals. The matchup between Allen and Murray should be fun. It's a game where one turnover could be the difference, and Buffalo has the better turnover margin.
Seahawks over Rams The Seahawks' defense remains an issue, and the Rams had a bye week to scheme for a key division showdown. L.A. has won three of the last four meetings, all of which have been decided by five points or less. This time, Wilson leads the game-winning drive.
Saints over 49ers After the absolute domination the Saints showed last week, and now being at full health, they face a team with the opposite outlook in San Fran, who is hobbling along with injuries and COVID issues. This one could get ugly.
Steelers over Bengals Pittsburgh placed Big Ben on the COVID list, and I think that's enough to tilt the game in the Bengals' favor. Burrow is playing exceptionally well in his rookie year. If his terrible O-line can keep him upright, he has a chance to steal a win on the road and give Pittsburgh its first loss of the season. Looks like Ben is playing, so I'm giving this to the Steelers.
Ravens over Patriots Jackson led a 37-20 domination against the Patriots on SNF last year, and the Ravens jumped out to a 17-0 lead in that game. New England does not have enough offense to keep up, even if Belichick can throw in a few wrinkles that slow the Ravens down this time.
Vikings over Bears The Vikings are starting to climb back into the fringe of the NFC playoff race after back-to-back division wins. The Bears are trying to break a three-game losing streak. Cousins is 0-3 as a starter with Minnesota against Chicago, but he can break that streak in a close game with the help of Cook.

Byes: Falcons, Cowboys, Chiefs, Jets

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!

Update: 7-7, on to Week 11.
