Panthers |
over |
Falcons |
The Panthers beat the Falcons in the first matchup, and Atlanta is coming off yet another game they should have won. Teddy B helps Carolina end a two-game skid with a season sweep of their division rivals. |
Bills |
over |
Patriots |
This is definitely not they way I picked this matchup in the past. The Patriots haven't lost four straight games since 2002, and the poor QB play is eye-opening. Their QBs have combined for just three TDs with 11 INTs this season. The Bills will be more than happy to pile on the points. |
Titans |
over |
Bengals |
Burrow continues to impress as a rookie, but the Bengals have been outscored 73-43 in the fourth quarter this season. Tennessee presents too many problems for Cincinnati's defense. |
Raiders |
over |
Browns |
The Browns lost OBJ to a torn ACL, but Baker showed he can work with other receivers. Vegas is 2-1 on the road, and the Raiders have won the last two meetings against Cleveland. Anticipate a wild finish between two playoff contenders. |
Colts |
over |
Lions |
Indy is coming off a bye after going 1-2 on the road. I think a rested Rivers has a slight chance to get a win here, but I'm not confident. |
Packers |
over |
Vikings |
It's a rematch from a Week 1. Minnesota had a bye week to prepare and will be playing with a sense of desperation, but it's hard to trust a team that has surrendered 27 points or more in every game this season. The Packers are still battling injuries to some stars, but they keep rolling the division. |
Chiefs |
over |
Jets |
This game just isn't fair. The Jets are averaging just over 12 PPG, which will not be enough to overtake the Super Bowl champs. Look for Bell to run all over his former team. |
Rams |
over |
Dolphins |
It's officially Tua time! He'll will make his first start, and the Rams are coming off a short week after NMF. L.A. ranks in the top five in sacks per game, and that pressure will create a few turnovers. Tua, meet Aaron Donald. |
Ravens |
over |
Steelers |
This could be the game of the week. Steelers are the only undefeated team in the NFL right now, but they're facing the Ravens in Baltimore off a bye. That's gonna be tough. I wonder if old Dez Bryant will make an appearance this week. |
Chargers |
over |
Broncos |
Lock hasn't thrown a TD pass in his last two starts, meaning he's due for a breakout game. Herbert has seven TDs and no INTs the last two weeks. Lock finds a groove at home against a defense that allows 253.2 YPG. But somehow, Herbert will sneak out a win. Should be a close one. |
Saints |
over |
Bears |
The Saints have quietly won three straight, and Brees completed 29 of 36 passes last week. Brees has won his last four starts against Chicago. Even without his WR weapons he's making it work. Not sure if we'll see Thomas or Sanders back this week, but at this point it doesn't really matter. If the secondary could just halfway do their job, this should be a road win for NOLA. Side Note: The Saints will be playing on their 54th birthday, which is All Saints' Day! |
49ers |
over |
Seahawks |
The NFC West grinder continues, and Seattle will look to bounce back from its first loss of the season. The 49ers and Seahawks have split their last four meetings. San Fran has allowed just 11 PPG the last two weeks. Seattle has played in five straight one score games, and that experience pays off in a classic that could go either way. |
Eagles |
over |
Cowboys |
The Cowboys might go QB shopping this week, but itβs a dreadful defense that continues to be the biggest problem. Wentz has passed for multiple TDs in his last three starts, and he improves to 4-4 as a starter against Dallas. |
Buccaneers |
over |
Giants |
Brady visits the Big Apple, but Eli won't be on the other sideline. The Bucs' pass rush will overwhelm Jones, and Tampa's offense continues to put up big numbers. Brady has just one INT in his last four games. |
