NFL Week 4 Predictions Thread (2019 Season)
Post Body

Well /r/NFL, the train keeps on moving into Week 4. A few backups made a splash by winning games they were projected to lose, putting more unpredictability into the season. I was able to go 11-5 last week, bringing me to 31-17. How did everyone else do? We have a nice showing of six divisional games, and we start seeing the bye weeks happening. Let's get to it!

Winner Loser Comments
Packers over Eagles I don't think the Eagles' defense is looking forward to playing Rodgers on Thursday. They're going to need their running game to step up this week to match scores with Green Bay. Not to mention having it being a short week with all the injuries they have on that roster.
Falcons over Titans Tough game to pick, as both teams are playing average at best. Titans have the better defense, especially with that heart-wrenching injury to Neal. They also have a better RB in Henry. But a seasoned QB like Ryan can always rely on his HoF WR Julio Jones to give the Dirty Birds those last second winning points.
Patriots over Bills Man, if I had more confidence in the Bills offense, this could be an upset. Buffalo's defense is super stingy, which will probably keep Brady from scoring over 30 on them. But I don't think Allen is quite ready for a shootout with Tom Terrific.
Chiefs over Lions Both undefeated teams (yes the Lions are undefeated) should be a good game to watch. I don't think the Lions' secondary will be able to keep up with Mahomes slinging it out there, especially with Slay out with a bad hamstring. I'm hoping Detroit can keep it close, though.
Colts over Raiders This game will be closer than the Colts like, with Hilton, Leonard and Hooker most likely out. This will probably come down to a field goal win by the home team, as I'm loving how Brissett has brought Indy back from irrelevancy.
Chargers over Dolphins If you're playing in a suicide pool this season, you're probably picking any team that plays the Dolphins and you're probably still in it. Keep doing that this week, as the Chargers get an easy west coast to east coast trip.
Giants over Redskins Sure the Giants have a rookie QB who's getting more attention than he should in that fluke win last week. And Barkley not on the field relieves some pressure for Washington. But damn, I want to see what Jones can do in a division matchup. And the Redskins are playing like absolute doo-doo, so he has a shot to get another win.
Ravens over Browns The Browns have heart, but shitty playcalling. The Ravens will take advantage of that, making it a two score victory and frustrating Cleveland fans for yet another week of squandered talent at the hands of a mediocre, stubborn coaching staff.
Texans over Panthers Kyle Allen showed Carolina fans what life after Cam could look like if things go south for the injurying-struggling QB. CMC will always keep pounding the ball and grabbing points, but I think the Texans will keep them honest with their defense while exploiting the dynamic of Watson and Hopkins.
Rams over Buccaneers I don't know what to say to make any Bucs fans happy this week. This game will be a massacre. Arians is getting a full understanding of this Tampa Bay team and why it's so terrible. I wish I could say a Winston/Goff matchup would be fun to watch, but who am I kidding! Rams by at least two TDs.
Seahawks over Cardinals Two incredibly mobile (and short) NFC West QBs will matchup for what is hopefully a good divisional game. I think experience on Wilson's part and a better defense give the Seahawks the win.
Vikings over Bears This is going to probably be another low-scoring game, given Chicago's stout defense. They just simply don't have the offensive firepower to match Minnesota. But on the flip side, Cousins is not going to destroy the Bears either, making it a close divisional matchup.
Jaguars over Broncos Minshew is a fan favorite now, but I think this will come down to a better overall defense from Jacksonville, despite Ramsey's constant insistence on being traded.
Saints over Cowboys Upset pick of the week! Teddy B. has shown he can be a great game manager until Brees gets back. Last week's tough road win in Seattle proved that, and he'll ride that momentum back into the Dome. The fans haven't forgotten how Dallas broke the Saints' winning streak last year, and they're hoping to return the favor. The Dome will be insanely loud and I'm interested to see if this Cowboys team, who's only wins are opponents with a combined W-L of 1-8, are truly good now that they're facing a powerful playoff team, even without Brees.
Bengals over Steelers Battle of the 0-3s. I'm sorry Steelers fans, but without Big Ben this team is pretty lifeless. The Bengals aren't absolutely terrible, and I think they can take advantage of Pittsburgh's slump to pull off a win.

Byes: Jets, 49ers

Those are my predictions, let's hear yours. Keep it civil and fun. Best of luck!

Update: 7-9, those were some ugly picks!
