Rome is currently the most popular band in the genre (at least judging by the platform it gets on spotify and youtube), has Douglas P ever commented on it, or on Jerome? I've read somewhere on this subreddit that Jerome purposefully chooses not to be too controversial to appeal to a wider audience. He also seems to be nowhere as radical with experimentation in his music as Di6 or C93 do, and explicitly comments on present politics. So I wonder what Douglas thinks about it, him being one of the founders of neofolk, and having some strong opinions. I've searched the internet to get some information on this, but I didn't find anything.
And disclaimer, this isn't meant as some implicit criticism of Rome, I'm a big fan, I got into neofolk thanks to him.
Douglas really isn't much of a public figure and hasn't been one for many years. When he gives interviews he mostly focuses on his own music.
