Hi Everyone,
For the past 3 years it turns out I haven't been eating as much as I have needed to have been.
Context: I did rowing until grade 10 and got pretty fit but in grade 11 I stopped rowing and in grade 12 I stopped eating enough food. I shrank quite considerably at finally got to a lower body fat percentage (had a belly for a long time and I probably developed some bad mental approaches to eating in order to get rid of it. I'm now 20, going on 21, and wish to be taller (I'm 5ft10 178cm - For reference my 4 years younger brother is 6ft 6). I understand there are some genetic variables at play, but I'm slightly shorter than my mum and shorter than my Dad.
I've been doing gym for 2 years now and haven't put on much muscle, often losing it in periods where I'd only eat eggs for breakfast, a protein shake, and whatever was for dinner.
I borrowed a fitness tracker and logged my calories for the past 2 weeks and it looks like I have been eating 30-50% of what I should have been each day for the last few years.
Is there any way I can fix this/ catch up the height gains I have lost? I'm sure as hell going to make sure I eat properly having the knowledge that I now have.
(P.S. First Reddit post, I hope my query makes sense)
