Tldr: I'm non-binary (AMAB) and I'm moving into a new chapter in my life. I've always disliked my name for how average and unremarkable it was. It made me feel average and unremarkable. I've had a passion for writer some I want a name that defines me. I know it must seem stupid to ask total strangers who know nothing about me for possible names but... I'm at my wits end, my friends and family are of little help.
My first name is unisexual so I'm debating on keeping it.
Amari Brown...
Brown... My last name is my skin color, how degrading is that? I wanna take back my identity by discarding this name. Considering the origins of this name, I hoped to replace it with something of African origins, going back to my roots if you will. 🤔
The names I had in mind were all too feminine.
Jacelynn Jazlyn Shae
I like Jaz & Jace by themselves. Buuut... It's the rest of the name I'm lost on it. All I know is I like unisex names. If you all have any suggestions?
