So I'm revamping my land section a bit, as we've recently had the enemy manlands and fastlands printed. My duals/shocks/fetches are locked, but I have two more lands for each color pair (540 cube, link in flair).
At present I have manlands for allied colors, filters for enemy, and a mixture as the remaining land (some mix of the temples, buddy lands, and painlands).
I'm pretty sure each guild gets its manland, and then I have to figure out the other land. I don't think it's right to run the same cycle for all ten- Azorius is happier with a temple, Rakdos with a painland or fastland. My inclination is to give fastlands to most guilds, with temples for some of the slower (blue) guilds and the filter land for Orzhov since the mana costs are hard sometimes.
I've also considered cutting a gold card from each guild, since I have seven for each, and adding a sixth land for each guild. I thought the rule was something like a land cycle for every hundred cards, so that's somewhere between five and six for me.
Thoughts? I know many of you must have thought about this before.
