Hello fellow brawlers.
This is the Historic Version of the Sigarda Deck that I posted this monday, I would comment the link of the Standard post on the description so they're "paired". Decklist here and gameplay (in spanish) here.
This is a little more of the same this week have been hard so I'm not feeling like doing a TedTalk about the Deck, I'm doing the post to don't let bad to anyone interested on the list.
- The main difference is that this version has ramp and 2 wipes, not like the standard one. The ramp through all our rocks like [[Arcane signet]], [[Coldsteel heart]], [[Chromatic lantern]], etc... have been very helpful since it allow us to have multiple plays a turn.
Since we are the aggro deck is a little nonbo to have to wipes but I honestly think that there's nothing wrong with having a nuclear buttom. One of our wipes is actually [[Dusk // Dawn]] that isn't actually the best wipe but the Dawn side can give us some good value since we have some good creatures with power 2 or less.
Another good sinergy around the "2 or less" lines wasn't actually planned, I noticed it while it was on action. [[Mentor of the meek]] [[Adeline, Resplendent Cathar]] is a good draw engine, with all the rocks the creatures with power 2 or less we can chain on multiple drops till we go out of mana.
- Honestly I understimated a lot Sigarda Humans, this deck is fun and we ended up with a 13 wins / 5 Defeats just like the Standard one.
All the wins can be summared as "Good curve = Aggro = Fast win/OP Scoop"
The Defeats were against
- Klothys, God of Destiny (2 times): I honestly can't get why we loose. It looked like we had control of the situation and suddenly got slapped out of the game.
- The Gitrog Monster and Wrenn and Seven : Both on the same line because we loose to the same reason, explosive ramp. The opponents had excellent hands and was crazy, they drop their bombs too early.
- Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale: This was a close one, actually was a race and we loose because he had lifelink.
Hope you enjoy the deck or that can help you as an idea generator. Hope you enjoyed your weekend and to have a good start tomorrow.
