Hello everyone! As the title says, I'm in need of a moving option and I'm overwhelmed with what would be the best situation for me.
I'm moving from Georgia to TX at the end of September. I'm planning on trashing, donating, and giving away a lot of my things. I plan on packing my collectibles (about 2 bookcases worth), my computer with 2 monitors, 2 large TVs (55" and 70"), dresser/cabinet for both TVs, small closet of clothes, and maybe a medium box for what's in the bathroom, a car, and two cats.
I would love to just rent a Uhaul, attach it to my car, and call it a day, but I'm not confident in my driving to do such a thing, especially arriving in very congested TX.
A coworker suggested renting a POD, but I have nowhere to place such a thing since I live in an apartment complex.
I have no issue with packing everything on my own, but I would have to hire movers to help load the heavy pieces and package the TVs.
I've planned for this move to cost $2k-4k, but I would love to discover a more cost effective method.
Please help ðŸ˜
