I choose The Terminator.
The new movie would be absolutely bonkers. Not exactly the grounded thriller of the 1980's or the bombastic bullshit of the 2010's.
It would be a story of how Skynet has been secretly winning the whole time. How each of the movies was their scheme to insure their existence, how every step the heroes took to cancel the rebellion did not matter. A reviewer, Ralph Sepe Jr, suggested it in his review of Terminator Genisys and I think it'd be a brilliant concept to follow up upon.
It would also be revealed that the purpose of those manipulations was to create a permanent timeline with no chance of humankind surviving the war. And now, Skynet only needs one cycle to set the line in motion.
How about you?

I would pair the big-screen sequels with a streaming series of at least 10 episodes between each major movie instalment to flesh out the characters and their backstory and world more. The movies would cover the macro issues but the series would allow fans to fill the gaps that they don't have time for in a cinematic release. They would still stand on their own however watching the series would be akin to going into watch HP with the benefit of having read the books, there is so much supporting material they couldn't include in that movie series but there were still nods and references to things that only someone with a deeper understanding of the written material would fully appreciate.
