I have some questions about getting a new bike. I'm currently riding a sportster, which is fine for me size wise and I enjoy the riding position. As I look for a new bike I'm not sure if I want to go in a sportier direction such as a CB1000R, or look for a new more powerful cruiser bike. I've been looking at specs (which I know are never the whole story) and I'm seeing that the CB1000R I'm looking at (2013) is tested at a little over 100hp. Looking at some new cruiser bikes, specifically the new Indian Scout and about to be released Victory Octane, they're both rated just over 100hp. To summarize my questions, why should I go for one bike vs the other, and what's the difference between 100whp on a cruiser vs a more sport oriented bike. Price is also a factor but I'm not interested in that particular aspect at this point.
