I'm heading down to Boone, NC for a wedding next week so I decided to make a little trip out of this. Right now my itinerary is like this:

Monday, August 5: DC to Johnson City Tuesday, August 6: Johnson City to Deals Gap Wednesday, August 7: Deals Gap to Boone, NC Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 9: Probably take a day to do a portion of the BRP, also want to take a day trip to Lexington. Saturday, August 10: Wedding Sunday, August 11: Return to DC

Basically, just seeing if anyone has any suggestions on what to do, where to stay, especially near the dragon. I've set the pace to be between 4-5 hours a day because I like to take things easy. I plan on doing the TotD on Wednesday morning before too many people are on it, so on Tuesday, I'd like to know if there are any roads I should be hitting. Also, if anyone would like to ride with for a portion or meet up I'd be down.
