The title is pretty self explanatory, but is a barista with 6years of experience and multiple formations supposed to make minimum wage?
Edit: By formations, I mean the following: -SCA certified roaster course -CBI certified barista course -MAPAQ certifications (all 3) -Various latte art clinics with experts
As for experience: -3 years as junior barista -3 years as senior barista
Also, I'm just a student with a passion for his job. Im not asking for 40$/h. All I need is enough to pay for my shitty 3 roommates apartment (700$, freshly augmented rent), pay for school, and pay for groceries. I work full time on top of my studies, am very dedicated to my job, and passionate. I was just wondering if minimum wage was the norm, not asking for a raise.
