Can't get Hakchi to see SNES after update

The error about rebooting

When I flashed the kernel under version 1.1.0 it worked and I was able to add games. But after updating like the app recommended, I always get this error when I try to update (then my SNES is stuck with the red light on until I unplug no matter how long I wait).

I installed the driver like it recommended and Windows 10 says "The operation completed successfully".

What am I doing wrong here? Any help would be appreciated!

EDIT: Solved. I put my laptop in airplane mode in conjunction with disabling my VPN.
