I remember my first car, I had bought it myself, paid for the insurance, gas, inspection and registration all on my own. It was 110% paid for by me.
One summer I had to drive my dad, once he got in the first thing he did was shut off the AC and roll down the window saying “I didn’t need it,” and “should know better.”
I rolled his window back up, set the window lock, and cranked the AC and explained that I paid for my own gas and maintenance.
