Visitor from the apartment above tried stealing $2200 in diabetic supplies
Post Body

First off, sorry the video downloaded odd and cut off the first 10 seconds.

Some lady (whom my wife and I have never seen) came down the stairs, sat by our door and tried to sneak a box of diabetic CGM sensors and transmitters into her bag. This happened at exactly 12:10pm. I was currently away from home and had just parked my car (@12:14pm) and saw her sitting outside the apartment with a couple large bags and I side one was a brown box.

I knew this delivery was happening, and I knew it had been delivered because of a notification on my phone.

I immediately started to go through the doorbell camera footage to verify that it was indeed my package. No surprise, it was.

At first I asked her if a package had been delivered and she said "yeah, I saw a package by the door over there. But only me and 2 other people have been through here". She mentioned I should check my camera. Now ladies and gentlemen, I don't know why she was digging such a bad hole to die in, but she did.

I told her the package was my diabetic supplies and are useless to basically everyone. I had mentioned that they personally cost me a lot of money so I can live safely and if they were to just be sold, someone would get very little for them. I was basically trying to guilt trip her into just giving me back the package.

She kept denying it. Finally I told her that we could just get it over with and she could give me the package she had covered up in her bag, or I could just call the cops.

She gave back the package and took off.
