I'm trying a bit of a new project and am trying to build a drip system in one of those 27 gallon totes you get at costco. One of the things i'd like to try and be clever with is the ability for me to start with the plants higher and closer to the light and then slowly move the system down on a lift system as the plants grow and I begin scrogging. It would also help with changing out the water as well.
I'm looking at picking up 4 12V DC linear actuators, and was curious about how to wire them together into one up / down switch and a wall plug. Admittedly my experience with electric work is very limited so I'm trying not to kill myself, but given the simplicity of the wiring I feel like this is a pretty straightforward project to attempt. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated, and if I can make this work I'm going to try my hand even automating more of my grow system.
Also if this isnt the right place for it, i'm happy to remove this.
