Im 49. I was in Illinois and growing cannabis quite successfully. It was awesome but I broke up with my girlfriend after 10 years and moved to Montana and I can't grow currently anymore and I want to learn to grow shrooms badly because I need a reset in life and I feel that I'm lost. I have ankylosing spondylitis/ psoriatic arthritis very very badly since I was a kid. I'm practically a walking science fiction movie. I was robbed of so many things early in life including getting to know my only daughter. Life has been extremely difficult but I'm proud that I'm still here. I really want to microdose and learn to grow mushrooms but I am definitely a little overwhelmed and not sure where to start.
I remember being a little overwhelmed in the beginning learning how to grow cannabis but that turned out to be fairly easy this whole game is a lot different it seems. Do I absolutely need a pressure cooker? What's the best substrate? It seems like there are a handful of various different ways to do this sort of thing. How big a fruiting chamber do i need? Some guys are using these bags other guys are using these jars? I need to get going and get this project on its way but I'm stuck feeling a little overwhelmed. Part of me just wants to pay and get some from somebody else the first time but I don't know anybody. It sounds like golden teacher would be a good spore for a beginner to start with. After that I'm kind of lost. One syringe is how many cc's and good for how much of what Substrate? I see some guys using these seeds grain Coco core I guess I need to listen to some podcasts and watch more videos but as of right now I'm a little lost I don't wanna buy anything that I won't need.
