Thank you in advance.

I tried googling this and got back literally 0 results. So here I am turning to this subreddit for insight/answers.

I picked up a new batch tonight and when I got home I settled in to undergo the usual tests/samples I take before ultimately administering via IV. I first visually inspect the ice. Checks out. Smell, checks out. Crumble test feels good, checks out. Even sounds good when I lightly tumble a few bigger shards together inside the bag. So far so good. On to the samples. First sample, a small bump orally. Tastes like shit, checks out. Then a bump up the old nose. Taste like shit, burns like hell, checks out. Next test, melting. Melts nice, checks out. Re crystalized in a normal amount of time and did so almost perfectly clear. A bit cloudy but not a single hint of brown to be seen. Checks out. At this point I was ready to prepare my shot and enjoy the fruits of my labor. I prepare the shot like always, nothing different from the way I've done it a thousand times before. Administration was quick and clean but here is where the weird shit started. You know that cold feeling you usually get in the back of your throat when you do a shot? Well I got that, but it wasn't cold. It was actually hot. Almost a burning sensation. I could write this one difference off and not worry too much about it but then another strange thing occured. Accompanying what should have been the usual cold sensation was an overpoweringly intense metallic taste. The taste lasted a good amount of time and even now 10 minutes later the very top ofy tounge has like a slight metallic like sting that just keeps persisting. Anyone ever gotten a similar reaction to a shot? If so, do you know the cause of it? Any way I can avoid it in the future or am I stuck with it until this batch is gone? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks again.
