Tire brand recommendations

'm looking for some tire recommendations for my trusty old Mercedes-Benz CLK 350. It's been a reliable companion for over a decade, and I want to make sure I choose the right tires to keep it performing at its best.

I'm in search of tires that offer excellent traction, durability. (We live on the blazing hot humid southeastern US coast which often has wet hazardous road conditions).

I was thinking of getting run flats but from reading the posts everyone thinks they’re trash so… maybe not?

Please let me know the specific tire brand and model, as well as any reasons why you recommend them!
